Thanks, sulz, I'm back on again! :) I'm back, and it wasn't even supposed to be all that interesting, but it was, so I shall blog about it. ;)

Glad you liked the list, BD! It amuses us around here when we're too hot to breathe. I feel very good now, and it was gorgeous!

Well, we could exist, Magik, we just wouldn't be very pleasant, I'll bet. People did live here before air conditioning, and found ways to cope---but some of that will go in my next post! ;) Yes, we do have many retirees here. Arizona is second only to Florida in the retirement business in the states. The winters are mild, which they like, and many travel or visit family during at least the two hottest months (normally July and August, but it's abnormally warm for June this year). Also, the warm, dry desert air is actually good for some conditions like asthma and some allergies. Thanks, I feel very well, and ready to cope with the summer!

Thanks much, B0bby. I think I enjoyed the White Mountains that much more because of the contrast. I really do like it here most of the time, and I'm feeling fine. :)

Wow, kaylee, that's a lot of "W's"! :) I thought if you read this post, you wouldn't feel too sorry for me, since where you are is even hotter! ;) But, I know you know how it is---after being away for a few days, it's nice to be home.

Sorry to hear you're feeling "off". That weather does sound very hot, so I'm not surprised if it gets a bit much after days on end.

Enjoy your vacation! :)

I love the last one!

We have this a bit with the cars and also sand at beaches being too hot to walk down to the water...its like a weird dance getting into the cool water. You really could not exist without air conditioning could you? Makes me think of the mining towns here that actually are built underground.

Hope you area refreshed when you return ...it does sap one that kind of heat. We always feel drained when we have a week or more over 39 degrees celcius and it does kill people. Which brings me to my question....do you have a lot of people retire to where you live as they would need special care in that climate. Obviously good in winter though.

Hope you are refreshed in body and spirit when you return.
