Two words; Many thoughts.
This has been a thoughtful probe into the inner workings of your host’s mind. No, I have not been the victim of alien technology, nor a surgeon, but have been tagged, by the lovely CuriousC of Idea Jump. π She instructs me to complete each two word phrase below, and create a new sentence about myself. It was self-indulgent, fun, and more challenging than I thought it would be. As she did, and as did her tagger, I’ve left the blank meme at the end for you to fill out, if you care to. Thank you, C, for tagging me, and thanks to those of you who read this!
I am:Β enormously blessed.
I think:Β way, entirely, too much. But I so love to!
I know:Β I can’t know things. But I suspect that reality unfolds as we imagine it.
I have:Β an amazing life, filled with beauty, people, color, and music.
I wish:Β it would be a tad easier for me to let go of wishing for things.
I hate:Β No. I don’t.
I miss:Β my parents, my Aunt Mags, and, sometimes, the ocean.
I fear:Β I’m wrong about some of my most cherished beliefs.
I hear:Β birds, the wind, the sound of my keyboard clicking, and my busy, noisy, thoughts!
I smell:Β right at the moment; Lavender essence, which I keep on my desk since I’ve discovered how nice it is.
I crave:Β OK, honestly? Pizza and potato chips, but I’m working on it! π
I search:Β for enlightenment. Which, as long as it’s searched for, will not be found.
I wonder:Β if we will ever really understand how the Universe works.
I regret:Β some of my past actions, in spite of the fact I did the best I knew how at the time, as we generally do.
I love:Β much of what I see around me, and hear, and feel…
I ache:Β occasionally.
I am not:Β my body, my breath, my soul, my personality…shall I go on?
I believe:Β in everything, and nothing—and no, I’m not just being flip! π
I dance:Β in gratitude.
I sing:Β nearly all the time—inwardly, when outwardly is not appropriate.
I cry:Β when reading moving blog posts, and at animal videos, apparently. π
I fight:Β hardly at all, anymore.
I win:Β just by being.
I lose:Β my composure, upon occasion.
I never:Β (hardly ever), say “never” π
I always:Β refrain from saying “always”. π
I confuse:Β my thoughts for beliefs, and my beliefs for truth (at times.)
I listen:Β to you, to the most wonderful music, and to the underlying pulse of life.
I can usually be found:Β either in front of this beastly machine, singing with a chorus, or on a hike.
I am scared:Β when I think I am in control, and it’s not working…
I need:Β not really anything. My body needs food, clothing, etc., but I am more than my body.
I am happy about:Β friends, beauty, and being of use.
I imagine:Β the entire Universe!
I tag:Β those of you that wish to share yourselves in this way. While I enjoy being tagged, not everyone does; so I’ll just say that there are some of you who come to visit here regularly (which I appreciate!!!) that I’d like to know these things about. If that description fits YOU, consider yourself tagged! π
and here’s this list for you to cut and paste! π

What a wonderful meme and I do remember first seeing it on Kaylee’s blog and thinking what an honest and wise soul this is.
What came to mind after reading yours however is what a generous and gifted soul you are …to us your readers….to those around you …to the universe in general and to yourself, which makes all the others possible.
Thank you for this and I would love to do it, thanks!

Magik Quilter, I was touched by kaylee’s as well. Thank you so much, your assessment is giving me something to think about. How beautifully you phrase it, and how wonderful to read it! Oh, yay! You certainly were on my mind as a tagee—I’m pleased you want to do this!
So nice of you to say this, BD! It means a lot to me. And you read my mind! I see you’ve done the meme; I’m looking forward to finding out more about “the inner bead”. π
If I can contribute at all to your feeling better, kaylee, I’m very happy, too! π I know you’ve done the meme, and I recommend yours to anyone that reads this one.

Goodness! This sounds interesting… Care to elaborate or is it one of those vague underlying fears…
I have a new ‘cry’ line: I cried last night listenging to BBKing play!! It was amazing…

Thank you loey! Glad you found it insightful. I’m happy you dropped by. We have a friend in common I believe. π Please do steal away…..there, you are now tagged!
BBKing is amazing! I agree, C., I’m a fan. I’ll have to listen now and see if I cry, I haven’t for a while. Well, {takes deep breath}, since you asked…{puts on lecture hat}…I believe that we form the Universe around us through our beliefs. But, that in itself is a belief, therefore has no ultimate reality. I really, really appreciate some of the things I believe. I’ve let go of some that are no longer useful, or that I no longer like, and have formed some new ones. But the secret fear is….What if I’m wrong about all of it? What if my beliefs don’t budge reality one iota? I’m prepared to accept that, if it should prove to be the case, but I might not like it!

Oh, Muse! I have so much to say about your last comment that I want to do a post about it. But I can’t today. I don’t have the time.
In short though, I think you are on the right track and it’s the rest of the world who has to catch up. Until then, there has to be a mixture of thought, energy and action. Everything has it’s time, but you are just way ahead of the rest of us. Hopefully we’ll all attain that goal. It’s a good thing there are people out there that are working on it now. There is power in positive energy. I believe… π

That looks like quite a meme. Strips a person to the bone, as it were.

Ah, the meme has cloned itself and spread to the Adventure Gamer‘s forum, Rikard. Due to a mutual friend, I see. And your avatar there looks somewhat familiar. Now let’s see…where have I seen it before? π Thanks for leaving the link, as I don’t drop in over there very often. Well, I liked yours very much. The “I miss” one surprised me. I didn’t know you were at all a sports fan. See, the things we learn? And you don’t eat sweets—oh that’s right, it’s peas! π I really liked your “I wonder”. And as for “I am scared”, how DID you cope with the thousand insects, then? I’m trying to imagine you dancing all alone. I cannot, but I’m glad you do. As well as singing all the time, yay! [note to readers: if you do read Rikard’s meme, please also do what he tells you to at the very end—IMO you’ll be glad you did]
My goodness BD! I’d no idea I’d provoke you that way. I can’t wait to read your post!!! Thank you for the tremendous compliment. My beliefs come from long examination of available ones, and occasionally a stray thought takes root. Oh, there are others of us strange-oids around; you just have to look (under a rock; behind a fence post). Seriously, BD, I’m deeply appreciative of your thoughts. I especially like your phrase: “mixture of thought, energy and action.” I’ll be interested to see what you do with that. π
Tony! Indeed; there’s something quite…”essential” about the meme. It’s great to see you! Your blog has become so popular I can hardly get in the door to comment. That is just splendid. I’m so pleased at your success! π

I’m not a sports fan. I don’t miss the ball in the sense of longing for it, I miss it in the sense of not hitting it. But a friendly game of kubb (look it up on Wikipedia if you don’t know the game) is fun anyway. π
Regarding the avatar I use at AG: If you’ve seen it before, it must have been as my avatar on a forum somewhere. The game where it comes from hasn’t been released, and I don’t know if it ever will be. (It was a collaboration but the person doing the design got busy with other things.) Or maybe it just looks familiar because of my drawing style.

Hmm, Rikard, your AG avatar did look so familiar to me that I thought I’d seen it, but it could have been on a prior visit to AG—maybe it IS your drawing style. It looks somewhat like the bartender in Frasse, superimposed on the “you” in D.R.E.A.M.S. OK, I looked up kubb. It looks really fun. I had not heard about it before, and I like to learn about new things, so thanks! The closest I’ve come to playing kubb is croquet, or bochhi ball, but it’s really not like either.
And so you have, Apar. I did visit you and read your meme, and it gives us a lot of insight. Really nice job! It’s great to see you; it has been a while, hasn’t it? I want to read more of your posts, so I’m really glad you came to see me. π
